After spotting her at London Fashion Week, we invited Stylist and Blogger Yuliya Oleksenko to style a few pieces from our collection as part of our 3rd Styling Session in collaboration with Videographer Lawrence Essex and Photographer Stoyanov & Jones. Yuliya wears our Crepe and Organza Alex Top paired with our matching Xander Trousers as a 2-piece set for a smart yet sexy ensemble.
How would you advise on how to look professional but stylish at the same time?
Keep it simple but pay attention to good cut and perfect fit! Also try to invest in good quality pieces and keep an eye out for the colour trends each season so you can keep your outfits relevant.
What places would you wear the Alexander 2-piece trouser suit to?
Those shear panels need to be seen! I would wear this outfit for a night out with my girls
what TIPS can you give on how to wear Black?
I actually find that black is the colour that suits me the most as i'm brunette. It is such a powerful colour and so easy to style whether you want to add brights or keep everything entirely monochrome. Don't afraid of black, try different shades of black if you feel it may be too dark for you, maybe even add some silver or gold jewellery which ever suits to your skin tone more, that way you will bring more sparkles to your eyes. I feel a completely black outfit looks very stylish and sophisticated.
Where do you look to for style inspo?
London is a great city you can get inspiration almost everywhere you look around. It's a wonderful place where lots of different cultures are brought together and sharing different styles to create some new. I love people watching whilst out and about in London, it's a great way to get inspired! Also on a digital side, if you browse Instagram- my favourite platform, you can find lots of different styles to please your imagination.
favourite exhibition you visited recently?
I recently visited Burberry x Henry Moore exhibition at Maker House. The collection was inspired by Henry Moore; one of Britain’s greatest sculptors. Burberry collaborated with the Henry Moore Foundation to help put the entire collection together creates a major exhibition. It was unforgettable. So much detail and the handcrafted pieces were just stunning!
